How we handle personal data.

This notice describes what personal data Mobedo collects through this site, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. It is drafted with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025 in view, alongside general US disclosure practice.

What personal data we collect

We collect data at three points, listed separately:

Contact form

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company
  • Phone number (if you choose to provide it)
  • The content of your message

Careers applications

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Résumé / CV and any application materials you submit

Site usage (via cookies and similar storage)

  • Device and browser information
  • Pages visited and interactions on the site
  • Approximate location derived from IP address

Usage data is collected only where you have enabled the relevant category in our .

Why we collect it

Each category has one specific purpose:

  • Name - to address you in our reply.
  • Email address - to respond to your inquiry.
  • Company - to understand the context of your inquiry.
  • Phone number - to reach you where a call serves you better than email.
  • Message content - to understand and respond to what you asked.
  • Job application data - to evaluate your candidacy and manage the hiring process.
  • Usage and device data - to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure and functional.

Your consent, and how to withdraw it

We collect personal data only after asking for your consent at the point of collection. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: email us at the contact above, or adjust your choices at any time in the .

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out with your consent.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights as a data principal:

  • Access - request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
  • Correction - ask us to correct or complete inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure - ask us to delete personal data that is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.
  • Grievance redressal - raise a complaint with us and have it addressed (see the Grievance Officer section below).
  • Nomination - nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

How long we keep your data

We keep each category of data for a defined period, then delete it:

  • Contact inquiries: 12 months from the date of the last communication
  • Job application data: 12 months from the date of the application or the closure of the recruitment process, whichever is later
  • Usage and cookie data: 12 months from collection

Grievance Officer and complaints

If your grievance is not resolved after contacting us, you have the right to escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India.

Cross-border data

Given Mobedo's delivery and commercial structure, personal data may be processed between India and the United States. Where data concerns individuals in India, the DPDP Act's extraterritorial scope applies regardless of where the processing takes place, and this notice applies accordingly.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, and we limit access to people who need it for the purposes described above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will handle it in line with applicable law.

Children's data

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Where a change is material, we will draw attention to it on the site before it takes effect.
